Ten Commandments of Safety

• Think safety first and always
• Eye and ear protection is mandatory at all times for both shooter and observers.
• Guns must be empty with the action open at all times; always make sure gun is open and empty before leaving your station.
• Guns must be loaded only when inside the shooting station and ready to shoot; maximum of two cartridges may be loaded at any one time.
• Shooting is allowed only from designated shooting stations and positions.
• Keep loaded and unloaded guns pointed down range and in safe direction at all times.
• Observers are required to maintain a safe distance behind the shooter at all times.
• A Sporting Grounds instructor is required to accompany guests around the course and the various sporting activities at all times.
• No one is allowed to participate in Sporting Grounds activities prior to signing the Sporting Grounds Liability Release Form.
• Absolutely no alcoholic beverages may be consumed on the Sporting Grounds while shooting in progress.

Failure to follow these rules could result in immediate removal from the grounds.
